BNA Women’s Summer & Coed League Results

The Bermuda Netball Associations Women’s Summer League and Coed League continued at the Bernard’s Park.

Women’s Summer League

The Stars defeated the North Village lady Rams 35 – 24, Fredrick Samuels scored 24 goals to lead the Stars to victory, Miesha Grieves added 6 goals, while Sanaa Grant added 5, Eshe Grant was named the teams MVP, while Darrika Simons scored 15 goals for the North Village Rams, with Jordyn Morris adding 9 goals, Nevaeh Swan was named the teams MVP.

The BHB Angels defeated the PHC Lady Zebras 23 – 13, MVP Demiqua Daniels led the BHB Angels with 13 goals, while Stacey O’Brien added 10 goals. Tyra-Lynn Simmons scored 7 goals for the PHC Lady Zebras, with Vernicka Symonds adding 6 goals.

MVP Jay-Lynn Hines scored 22 goals to lead the Tigers to a 46 – 15 win over the St. George’s Lady Colts. Jahtuere Trott added 10 goals for the Tigers, with Nisaiah Berkley, and Micah Pond both scoring 7 goals each. The St. George’s Lady Colts got 8 goals from Selina Bascome, with Nicky Smith adding 7 goals, Tyra Glasgow was named the MVP.

Coed Summer League

PWC edged the North Village Rams 20 – 18, PWC got 14 goals from Carl Cao, with Charlotte Evans chipping in with 6 goals, Kiante Lightbourne was named the teams MVP, while the North Village Rams got 13 goals from Darrika Simons, and 5 goals from Jordyn Morris, with Quinn Simmons named the MVP.

The Storm Chasers defeated the BHB Angels 42 – 22. Antione Williams led the Storm Chasers to victory with 24 goals, Elishae Smith added 16 goals, and Selah Tuzo scored twice, with Amaury Majors named the teams MVP, Sheldon Bahadosingh scored 12 goals for the BHB Angels, with Jahmair Lewis-Trott adding 10 goals.
