Janine Ogle Dyer To Host Book Signing, Reading
Author Janine Ogle Dyer will be holding a book signing and reading from her new children’s book The Light at Rock Island Café on Saturday [July 9] from 10.00am to 1.00pm.
A spokesperson said, “Janine Ogle Dyer, author of children’s book The Light, will be signing books and reading from her new children’s book at Rock Island Cafe on Saturday, July 9th from 10.00am to 1.00pm.
“The Light follows the journey of a little Bermudian girl, saddened by the state of the world, who asks The Light “what am I?” – and to her surprise, The Light replies. The book not only features beautiful art painted by the author, it includes many Bermuda landmarks including the Longtail, the North Shore Sea, Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse, and loquat trees, as well as the author’s own children and a number of local children she cares for.
“Mrs. Ogle Dyer will be reading from The Light, sharing the story of why she wrote it, as well as speaking about her new Guardians Children’s Summer Camp running at Admiralty House Park.
“In addition to the books themselves, available for $25 or two for $40, Mrs. Ogle Dyer will have reprints of the art from the book on hand available for sale.
