Man Injured In Stabbing On Private Boat
A 26-year-old man was taken to hospital following a “stabbing incident said to have taken place aboard a private boat” last night [July 3], the police have confirmed.
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly before 9:10 p.m. on Sunday 3rd July, 2022, Police received a call reporting a stabbing incident, said to have taken place aboard a private boat. Officers along with Ambulance personnel were dispatched to the Rockaway Ferry Dock, where the victim, a 26-year-old male, was brought ashore.
“He was immediately transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was attended to for multiple stab wounds. His injuries are described as non-life threatening.
“Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call 211, or the main police number 295-0011. Alternatively, you may share that information with a police officer whom you know.”
