Irie 98.3 Station Off Air, But Streaming Online
The Irie 98.3FM radio station is currently off air due to a “lightning strike and power outage at the studio” during Hurricane Fiona; the company is working to get back on air and the station is still available via online streaming.
A spokesperson said, “Following a lightning strike and power outage at the studio in Happy Valley in the early hours of Friday morning during the storm, broadcast equipment was damaged and subsequently the station has not come back on the air.
“We are working diligently to repair the networks and get the signal back on air as soon as possible. The station is however live streaming on the various online mobile services such as Tunein.com, and mobile apps such as Tunein, and RadioFM. The links for streaming can also be found on the station website www.Irie.bm.
