BAC Group Appoints Williams As New CEO
The BAC Group of Companies announced that Mr. Denton Williams has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.
A spokesperson said, “Most recently, Mr. Williams served as Chief Executive of the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda [RA]. Prior to the RA, Mr. Williams served at BELCO and the Ascendant Group as the Senior Vice President and COO of BELCO.”
Dr. Grant Gibbons, President of the BAC Group of Companies, said: “We’re very pleased to have Mr. Williams join the team. His expertise and leadership will support the Group as it moves into its next phase of development.”
The spokesperson said, “While at the RA, Mr. Williams was responsible for the launch of several important initiatives, including setting the trajectory for the regulation of submarine cables, fuel and broadcasting in Bermuda.
“Mr. Williams is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and the Institute of Engineer-ing Technology. He holds a BSc in Information Technology, an MBA in corporate finance and he completed an executive management program at Stanford University.”
