PLP Debate Postponed Due To ‘Logistical Error’
Due to what was termed a “logistical error,” the PLP Leader’s debate — involving Premier David Burt and Curtis Dickinson — scheduled for Saturday [Oct 8] was cancelled.
An email sent out by the party said, “Due to a logistical error, it has been agreed by both Candidates and the Party’s Executive Committee that the Leader’s debate scheduled for Saturday, October 8th on Party-related matters has, unfortunately, been cancelled.
“Recognizing that political debates are a feature of a progressive, strong democracy, both Candidates are fully committed to participating in the debate scheduled for Saturday, October 15th. Further details regarding this debate will be released once confirmed.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
