Clarien Bank Reid Street Facility To Close
Clarien Bank announced that the “former branch facility located at 19 Reid Street in Hamilton will close permanently, effective January 6, 2023.”
A spokesperson said, “An emblem of the Clarien Bank legacy, the 19 Reid Street facility has served as the main branch location for more than 20 years. With the move to digital banking in 2022, all primary client services transitioned from in-branch to online and automated solutions, with dedicated services provided at the new flagship location at Point House on Front Street.
“Remaining client services, including pre-ordered cash and cheque book pick up and draft collection, will transition from 19 Reid Street to Clarien’s 25 Reid Street location. Clients should enter the new facility through the Reid Street entrance and take the elevator to the 2nd floor for assistance.
“As with Point House, Clarien has invested in significant enhancements to the 25 Reid offices, creating a reimagined space designed to inspire collaboration within digital first facilities. In addition to being the new collection site for clients, the facility fosters a work space centered around physical and mental awareness, innovation and teamwork with features including a wellness gym for the Clarien team.
