Lambe Leaves Stowmarket, Joins AFC Sudbury
[Written Stephen Wright]
Reggie Lambe has joined AFC Sudbury from Isthmian League North Division rivals Stowmarket Town.
The Bermuda midfielder scored in his final game for Stowmarket in a 2-1 win away to Brentwood Town last Saturday.
Lambe, who turns 32 tomorrow, found the net 11 times for the Suffolk-based club this season.
“Sadly, my time at Stowmarket has come to an end,” he wrote on Twitter. “[I] want to wish the players and staff the very best for the rest of the season. And to the fans, you’ve been absolutely wonderful!”
AFC Sudbury are top of the table and take on Lowestoft Town at home tomorrow.
Lambe joined Stowmarket in December 2020 after being released by Sky Bet League Two side Cambridge United at the end of a two-year deal.
Bermuda’s most-capped player has also had stints at Ipswich Town, Toronto FC, Nykopings BIS, Mansfield Town and Cambridge United.
