Tomorrow’s Voices Adds New Board Members

Tomorrow’s Voices announced the appointment of four new members to its board of directors, including Adrian Lodge, Jannette Cabrera-Fox, Dr. Cherita M. Rayner, and Amir Mizrachy.

A spokesperson said, “Tomorrow’s Voices is thrilled to announce the appointment of four new members to its board of directors. The new appointments will bring a range of expertise that will benefit the charity, which supports the Bermuda Autism Early Intervention Centre.

“The new directors include experts in their field, including IT, law, medical, and psychology.

“Adrian Lodge joined Tomorrow’s Voices as a board member in January 2023. He has over 15 years of experience in application development and IT consulting. Some of his extracurriculars include leading the BEDC’s Startup Weekend event for entrepreneurs, being a mentor at the annual Hackathon and teaching WordPress.

“He also designs mobile apps and games for Bermuda Island Games, a local business he started, to promote Bermudian culture digitally. Adrian holds a Masters degree in Information Technology Management from the University of Liverpool in the UK.

“Jannette Cabrera-Fox joined Tomorrow’s Voices as a board member in January 2023. Jannette is a mother to a beautiful three-year-old son, a wife, and a registered nurse. She has been passionate about being of service to others her entire life and became a nurse because helping others and advocating for others was a natural fit for her.

“Jannette, who is of Hispanic descent, is originally from California. She has lived in Bermuda for two decades and, given the unique and rich cultures she has experienced both in the United States and in Bermuda, she has a unique background that helps her to understand different and unique perspectives. Jannette also enjoys problem solving and finding creative solutions to challenges to help people achieve their goals and optimal outcomes. In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

“Dr. Cherita M. Rayner joined Tomorrow’s Voices as a board member in January 2023. Dr. Rayner is a Registered Clinical Psychologist. Born in Bermuda, Dr. Rayner completed her post secondary education in the United States, attending Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, and Alliant International University in San Francisco, California.

“Dr. Rayner is the founder of Chrysalis Bermuda, a private psychotherapy practice, serving a child, adult and older adult population. Dr. Rayner provides integrative psychological services to provide the best care for her clients, with specialized training in prolonged grief therapy.

“Dr. Rayner is active in the psychological community, currently serving as president of the Bermuda Psychological Association, in addition to serving as a member of the Bermuda Parole Board. Dr. Rayner has previously held the role of clinical psychologist and professional practice lead with the Bermuda Hospitals Board.

“Dr. Rayner has also served as a member of the Bermuda Hospitals Board’s Ethics Committee. Dr. Rayner is a co-developer of the Mental Health First Aid Bermuda programme and currently serves as a programme facilitator. Dr. Rayner additionally holds an ILM Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.

“Amir Mizrachy joined Tomorrow’s Voices as a board member in February 2023. He was born in Israel and grew up in Jerusalem. He has served in the canine special forces unit of the Israeli Defense Forces in OKETZ.

“He is a lawyer by profession, receiving his LLB in Israel in 2010, and remains a good standing member of the Israel Bar Association since 2012. He is also a good standing member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association since 2019. Since 2016, he has lived in Bermuda with his wife and three children.”

Thea Furbert, Tomorrow’s Voices co-founder and board chair, said, “These new appointments round out a board that provides expertise in their field as well as growth in parent engagement to help benefit our clients at Tomorrow’s Voices.

“We appreciate the time that they give to ensure that our organisation continues to thrive and that we are able to service the community the best that we can.”
