Peppercorn Ceremony To Take Place On Wed
The annual Peppercorn Ceremony will take place tomorrow [April 26].
A Government spokesperson said, “he public is encouraged to attend the annual ceremony to enjoy the tradition, pomp and pageantry featuring the Royal Bermuda Regiment [RBR] guard on parade and the RBR Regiment Band and Corps of Drums.
“The public can also follow live coverage of the ceremony, starting at 10.30 am on the Government’s FaceBook and YouTube pages, and on CITV [ch. 102 and ch. 2].
“The Peppercorn Ceremony gets underway at 10.30 am in King’s Square, St. George’s. Those planning on attending the event are asked to be seated by 10.30 a.m. For more information persons can contact 297-1532. In the event of bad weather, a decision will be made at 9.00 a.m.”
