Road Closure For Warwick Academy Fun Run
The Ministry of Public Works advised “that there will be a road closure for Morgan’s Road & a portion of Harbour Road in Warwick for the Warwick Academy 5K Fun Run & Walk.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Morgan’s Road will be closed from Warwick Academy exit near Middle Road until Harbour Road. Harbour Road will be closed from Morgan’s Road junction heading west to Tamarind Vale Road in Warwick.
“This 5K Fun Run & Walk will take place on Sunday, 30th April, 2023 from 8:30 am until 11:00 am.
“Motorists are asked to avoid these road closure sections and to use alternative routes via Middle Road, Keith Hall Road, and Longford Road for the duration of this event.
“The traffic control will be under direction of the Warwick Academy representatives. In addition, the Bermuda Police Service are hereby authorized to ‘Close-Off’ or ‘Open’ streets or portions of streets and restrict authorized parking as the Commissioner of Police decides.
“Access along these sections of road closures will be restricted to emergency vehicles and residents only.
The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
