Road And Sidewalk Closure At St. John’s Road
An “emergency road and sidewalk closure occurred on St. Johns Road between the traffic lights at the junction of St. Johns Road and Cedar Avenue and the Saltus Grammar School entrance.”A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists and pedestrians that an emergency road and sidewalk closure occurred on St. Johns Road between the traffic lights at the junction of St. Johns Road and Cedar Avenue and the Saltus Grammar School entrance.
“The road closure will not allow any traffic to pass through and is in immediate effect. The closure will continue until the necessary repair works have been completed. This work is not anticipated to be finished before 31 October 2023.
“Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use Woodlands Road, Canal Road, Dutton Avenue, Black Watch Pass, Langton Hill, and North Shore Road for detour routes.
“The road closure works will be managed using cones, barricades and signage.
“The Ministry of Public Works encourages the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
