Video Contest For Teens Offers $1,000 Prize

WeSpeak is inviting teenagers aged 14-18 to “share a video that shares your journey toward confidence in public speaking,” with a $1,000 prize being offered for the winner, $500 for second place, and $300 for third place.

A spokesperson said, “Calling all teenagers with a passion for storytelling and a phone in hand! We are excited to announce the launch of the WeSpeak Teen’s Video Competition, a fantastic opportunity for young minds to harness the power of their voice, express themselves and win incredible prizes.

“If you’re a teenager aged 14 – 18, then this is your chance to shine. WeSpeak is inviting all middle school to high school students to record and share a video that shares your journey toward confidence in public-speaking, by describing what confidence, competence and calm mean to you in this context. “This competition is not just about winning; it’s about self-expression, creativity, and embracing the values of practicing speaking in front of an audience – or in this case, a camera. “Our goal with the WeSpeak Teen Video Competition is to empower teenagers to showcase their unique and authentic voices, as well as creativity and passion for meaningful storytelling.
