Two People Injured In Collision In Devonshire
Two people were injured in a collision involving a van and a motorcycle in Devonshire.
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly after 6:20 a.m. on Saturday, October 28th, 2023, police responded to a reported serious two vehicle collision, involving a van and a motorcycle, at the junction of Chaingate Hill and Middle Road in Devonshire.
“Upon arrival officers were informed the motorcycle rider and their pillion passenger were travelling east on Middle Road when they reportedly crossed the centre line and struck the front of the van, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
“The motorcycle rider and pillion passenger, both males, sustained head and leg injuries and were in and out of consciousness.
“They received attention from EMTs at the scene. They were then transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further treatment of their injuries, which are believed to be serious, but non-life-threatening.
“The male driver of the van and his female passenger were not reported injured in the collision.
