42-Year-Old Man Dies In Industrial Accident
The police have confirmed the death of a 42-year-old man following an “industrial accident at a construction site in St. George.”
A police spokesperson said, “Shortly before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10th, 2023, police attended a report of an industrial accident at a construction site in St. George.
“It was reported a 42-year-old male Portuguese National was working at the site when he was struck by a steel beam.
“EMTs attended and transported the injured male to King Edward Hospital for treatment for his injuries. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead a short time later.
“Officers from the Bermuda Police Service Forensic Support Unit visited and processed the scene. Inquiries into this matter are ongoing.
