Fresh Breath Holds Annual Community Day
Fresh Breath Dental [FBD] marked its seventh annual Community Day by offering free tooth extractions and emphasizing the importance of oral health.
A spokesperson said, “Fresh Breath Dental is committed to supporting a healthier you. In supporting a healthier you, FBD was pleased to host its annual Community Day on Friday, November 10th, 2023. This is the seventh year in a row that it has offered free tooth extractions to the community.
“We were able to address impacted wisdom teeth and systemic infections that were affecting persons for a long time. It was a delight to see that young people understand the importance of early prevention and took the initiative to be seen on Friday. We want to encourage all young people to take an interest in their health. Many times, the mouth gets overlooked, but it is the gateway to your overall systemic health.
“Everyone who received treatment was very grateful and it was a pleasure to be able to assist them in their time of need.
“We make it a priority to give back to the community that has continuously supported us; we also support Constituency 16. Once again, we would like to thank the FBD staff and all the other participants for making the day a tremendous success. Additional support was provided by Russann Francis, who volunteered her time, as well as a collaboration with the Department of Health, who allowed us to use some of their instruments and supplies.
“Remember, tooth infections that are ongoing can trigger health complications and compromise your health. We want to encourage everyone to start 2024 with a healthy mouth.”
