Trey Mallory & UNC Win Over William & Mary
Trey Mallory and his UNC Wilmington men’s tennis teammates rolled to a 4 – 0 win over William & Mary at the UNCW Tennis Complex.
UNC Wilmington pushed their record to 7-5 with the home win while the 71st-ranked Tribe dipped to 9-7.
Gabe Hurtado and Mallory edged W&M’s Alexandre Leblanc and Nikita Bortnichek, 6-4, to earn the doubles point.
Playing in the #5 singles spot, Mallory was a set up, but down 4-2 in the second before officials ruled the game over with UNC Wilmington picking up the win.
