Emergency Lane Closure On North Shore Road
“The Ministry of Public Works advised of an “urgent road closure on North Shore Road, near the entrance to Shelly Bay Beach in Hamilton Parish” saying “this temporary measure is necessary for emergency repairs on a damaged water line.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Location of Closure:
“North Shore Road at the entrance of Shelly Bay Beach and the junction of Lemon Grove Road.
Date and Time of Closure:
“Saturday, 20 April 2024, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
“During this period, the westbound lane will be closed to facilitate the trench work required for the repair.
“Traffic controls will be in place and managed by contractor representatives using cones and signs to ensure the safety of motorists and workers.
“For full details, please refer to the attached Road Traffic Notice.
“The Ministry of Public Works appreciates the motoring public’s understanding and cooperation.
“Please plan your travel accordingly and adhere to the traffic signs and guidance provided by the officials on site.”
