Marine & Ports Issues Advisory On Raft-Up
Marine and Ports Services provided an advisory in advance of the Raft-Up event off Shelly Bay Beach on Saturday.
A Government spokesperson said, “The following notice is from the Director of the Department of Marine and Ports Services:
“A Raft-Up will occur on Saturday, 15 June 2024, between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The event will take place off Shelly Bay Beach.
“Mariners are advised to keep outside the line of buoys, exercise a 5-knot no-wake speed and navigate the area with extreme caution due to the anticipated high number of swimmers in the water during the event.”
