Erica Hawley, Dame Flora Duffy and Tyler Smith represented Bermuda in the triathlon at the 2024 Paris Olympics on July 31.
Erica Hawley and Tyler Smith made their Olympic debuts, and seasoned Olympian Dame Flora Duffy achieved a 5th place finish in her fifth Olympic appearance. Duffy’s participation tied the record for the most Olympic triathlon appearances, making her one of only two people to compete in five. The 36-year-old, in her final Olympics, returned to racing in May after an 18-month knee injury.
