Robin Horsfield Wins Silver At Caribbean Bike
Robin Horsfield won a silver medal for Bermuda in the short track at the Caribbean Mountain Bike Championships.
A spokesperson said, “Exciting news from the Bermuda Bicycle Association! Robin Horsfield has clinched the Silver medal in the Short Track at Caribbean Mountain Bike Championships representing Bermuda. Starting strong and strategically, Robin stuck close to Puerto Rico’s national champ, Georwill Perez, and by the 5-minute mark, they surged ahead with only Joel García, the Dominican National Champion, able to keep pace.
“Robin’s determination shone as he led the pack for 2 laps, effectively breaking away from the rest with Georwill. Despite a valiant effort, Robin faced tough competition from Georwill’s attacks in the final laps, ultimately securing an impressive second place.”
