The Smiths Storm defeated the Sinky Bay Sea Turtles 7 – 2 in the opener.
The Smiths Storm got a hat-trick from Mathew Benson, while James Amaral found the back of the net twice, with Kris Abramowski and Jake Fenske adding a goal each. Rob Osborne scored twice for the Sinky Bay Sea Turtles.
Devil’s Hole Diablos 7 North Rock Beacons 8
The nightcap was a 15 goal thriller with the North Rock Beacons edging the Devil’s Hole Diablos 8 – 7.
The North Rock Beacons got a hat-trick from Ryan Wilson, while Chris Grantier and Richard Campbell added two goals each, and Ryan Bates scored the other. Theo Caimassidis scored four times for the Devil’s Hole Diablos, with Bill Calko adding a hat-trick.
