Four Bermuda players helped Thomas College defeat the University of Maine Farmington by a score of 6 – 3 in a North Atlantic Conference match.

Cody Robinson, Shane Robinson, Tre Burgess, and Joshua Joseph all played a part in the match.

Joseph put in a stellar performance for Thomas College, finishing the match with a hat-trick.

Thomas College would push the pace from the opening whistle, with Joseph finding the back of the net off a David Ivarsson assist just eight minutes into the match.

Farmington attempted to answer back shortly after, but Thomas College goalkeeper Jamie Fischer made two solid saves to keep Thomas College ahead.

Midway through the first half, Micky Woodrow found Joseph for his second goal of the match, putting Thomas College ahead 2 – 0.

But Farmington answered quickly, scoring just three minutes later to make it a 2 – 1 game.

In the 38th minute, Joseph was given a penalty after a Thomas College player was fouled inside the box, and would complete the hat-trick scoring his third goal of the match.

Thomas scored two more goals in the final 6 minutes with Andrew Hodgins powering one past the keeper off a Ivarsson assist, and Woodrow finishing an unassisted goal to put Thomas College up 5 – 1 at the half.

Farmington would open the second half with a quick goal to make it a 5 – 2 game, but Thomas College defense would continue to shut down the Farmington attack throughout the second half.

But Thomas College weren’t finished, as Burgess would dribble through the Farmington defense and set up Zayin Clough for another Thomas College goal.
