Road Closures Announced For Taste Of Bermuda
The City of Hamilton announced upcoming road and car park closures for Taste of Bermuda 2024, a four-day culinary event from October 17 to 20.
A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton would like to advise the public of upcoming road and car park closures in support of Taste of Bermuda 2024, presented by MasterCard’s Flavours Programme. This four-day event will take place from October 17th to October 20th and promises to celebrate Bermuda’s vibrant culinary scene by highlighting local eateries, showcasing the talents of Bermudian chefs, and offering immersive, multi-sensory experiences.
“Among the featured events, guests will have the chance to sample delectable dishes from two of Bermuda’s culinary masters at Cambridge Beaches, witness skilled bartenders and mixologists in a beverage showcase hosted by Bacardi International, be a part of the Formal Dining Experience at the City Hall All White Ball, and spoil their taste buds at the Tasting Village: Festival of Flavours. Road and Car Park Closure Information:
- Church Street between Queen and Washington Streets [bus terminal]: One lane will remain open [southern lane] from 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 19th, but both lanes will be fully closed from 5:00 PM until Sunday, October 20th at 6:00 PM.
- City Hall Car Park: Closed from 6:00 AM on Saturday, October 19th, until 6:00 AM on Monday, October 21st. No parking will be available during this time.
Additional Notices:
- Businesses should place their trash for collection no later than 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 19th. There will be no trash collection on Sunday, October 20th. Regular trash collection will resume on Monday, October 21st.
- The Church Street Taxi Stand will be temporarily relocated to Wesley Street on both days.
