Football: Zeiko Lewis In, Nahki Wells Out
The Bermuda Football Association [BFA] announced that Zeiko Lewis has joined the national team for their Concacaf Nations League match against the Dominican Republic, while Nahki Wells has been released to rejoin Bristol City FC ahead of their EFL clash with Burnley.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Football Association [BFA] is pleased to announce that Zeiko Lewis has joined the national team squad in the Dominican Republic. Fresh off his USL 1 Division Championship, Lewis will be available for Tuesday’s crucial Concacaf Nations League match against the Dominican Republic.
“In addition, following discussions with SMNT staff, Nahki Wells has been released to return to Bristol City FC to prepare for their upcoming English Football League [EFL] match against Burnley FC. As a result, Wells will not be available for Tuesday’s match.
“The BFA extends its best wishes to Nahki and looks forward to his return to the national team in 2025 as Bermuda continues its pursuit of qualification for the 2025 Gold Cup and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.”
