Four People Win Bikes In Terceira Giveaway
The Terceira Bike Giveaway brought holiday cheer to four winners, who each won new motorbikes as part of the raffle giveaway.
A spokesperson said, “The Terceira family business had always been more than a collection of gas stations—it was a cornerstone of the Bermuda community. This year, the decision was made to give back in an unforgettable way: hosting a Bike Giveaway raffle across their four gas stations—Terceira’s North Shore, East Broadway RUBiS, St. John’s Road, and Warwick Gas. Sponsored by ScooterMart, KitKat [BGA], and BFM, the giveaway promised to bring joy and mobility to four deserving winners.
“For weeks, the Terceira stations were abuzz with activity. Customers entered the raffle during their visits by simply purchasing any amount of fuel and any KitKat product. It was a simple promotion that began on November1st and end on Christmas Eve and grew lots of excitement with customers sharing stories, laughter, and anticipation the anticipation of winning, with the friendly staff. Each station felt like a festive hub, with the bikes clearly on display at the Warwick Gas and Terceira’s North Shore locations.
The Big Winners
“As the winning names were drawn, the names were taken off to the IRIE98 studios where the lucky winners were “prank called” before being showered with the announcement of their big win! Each winner was initially “tricked” into believing that there was a problem with one of their purchases and that they needed to return to the store to see the site manager, immediately. Only to discover that they were the official winner of a brand new bike!”
- North Shore: O’dell Smith was the first call made. A hardworking local known for his laid back spirit, O’dell grinned as he stepped forward to accept his prize. “This is unreal,” he said. “Thank you to the Terceira family for this incredible holiday prize!”
- East Broadway RUBiS: At East Broadway, barber shop owner Taurey Whitter and taxi driver was the lucky winner. Taurey smiled as he spoke. “If it wasn’t for the staff’s encouragement, I probably wouldn’t have entered . . . . but I’m glad I did!”
- St. John’s Road: School teacher Tanika White, who teaches at Northlands Middle School, was the winner at St. John’s Road. Surrounded by some of her family, she noted. . . “This is such a blessing,”. “Winning this bike is going to make life so much easier.”
- Warwick Gas: The final winner was Kelly Rego, a devoted mother to her daughter Marley. Kelly used her daughter’s name on the winning ticket, and sure enough . . . her ticket was pulled. When asked what she was going to do with her brand new ride, she said, “Ride it!”
Giving Back
“The Bike Giveaway was more than a raffle; it was a celebration of community, connection, and kindness,” said operation’s manager, Allan Young. “The Terceira family, alongside their business partners. ScooterMart, KitKat [BGA], and BFM, were overwhelmed by the joy and gratitude they witnessed.”
The spokesperson said, “As the winners prepared to ride into the new year with their motorbikes, the Terceira family reflected on the true meaning of the holiday season. They knew this event was the start of something special and look for to providing more great promotions to the wider community.”
