Field Hockey: Budgies vs Griffins Ends In Draw
The Griffins and Budgies played to a 2-2 draw in a Bermuda Field Hockey League match at the National Sports Center.
Abby Brewer opened the scoring for the Griffins in the 29th minute, but Jessica Charles converted a penalty stroke just before halftime to level the score at 1-1.
Kascia DeSilva gave the Budgies a 2-1 lead early in the second half, but Heather Sinclair’s goal in the 55th minute ensured the Griffins would earn a share of the points.
