Dage Minors Finishes Runner-Up In 10K Race
Dage Minors has finished an impressive runner-up in the BF&M Bermuda 10K today [January 18].
It was a quick turnaround for Minors, who also finished runner-up last year, having placed fourth in the Butterfield Mile – Invitational men’s elite race last night.
Minors, who is considering running the PwC Bermuda Half-Marathon as part of the Chubb Triangle Half Challenge tomorrow, completed the 10k course in 31min 07sec for a personal best.
He also ran his fastest time in the Butterfield Mile – Invitational.
Andrew Wacker, of the United States, won the race in 30:07, which was a new course record, with compatriot Danny Cosgrove, third in 31:30.
Ben Claridge, of Britain, who won the Butterfield Mile, was fourth in 31:47. Bermuda’s Tyler Butterfield came fourteenth in 34:46.
Christine Gould, of the United States, was the first female finisher in 34:21, with Ellie Stevens, of Britain, runner-up in 35:04 and American Anna Vess, who won the women’s elite mile, third in 36:06.
Gayle Lindsay was the top local woman in fourth in 37:24.
