Jasmine Spence Creates Goal For Newport
Bermudian footballer Jasmine Spence had an assist in Newport Pagnell Town Women’s 2-2 draw away to Dunton & Broughton United in the East Midlands Division One South on Sunday [January 19].
The attacking midfielder, who has scored four goals this season, told Bernews: “I didn’t score, but I got an assist.
“It was an odd game with a lot of variables to overcome, but we rallied and got the tie. I’m hoping to get back on the scoresheet this weekend.”
Newport Pagnell Town, who play in the sixth tier of the women’s pyramid in England, are away to Bugbrooke St Michael Ladies on Sunday [January 26].
