Talia Thompson Receives Her White Coat
Bermudian Talia Thompson has received her white coat from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St Kitts and Nevis at a recent ceremony.
The former Warwick Academy student attained a Bachelor of Science in agriculture with a pre-veterinary focus and a minor in chemistry from the Stephen F. Austin University in Texas, graduating with a 4.0 GPA last month.
She was subsequently submitted to the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Ms Thompson has engaged in several internships at various shelters, most recently at the Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium in Florida, where she conducted research with sharks.
She intends to return to Bermuda following the completion of her programme to contribute to the local community through her work in veterinary medicine.
