Hamilton Lions Cubs Give Back To WindReach
The Hamilton Lions Club Cubs visited WindReach Bermuda in Warwick as part of their monthly service project and fun day last weekend.
The Cubs got creative by making playdough, which will be sold in the WindReach Farm Shop to support its programmes.
They also enjoyed a tour of the petting zoo, meeting animals, and finished the day with playtime at the playground.
“As part of their ongoing commitment to service, the Cubs also brought in their used crayons to donate to the Lions Club of Seaford Leos Club, who will have them recycled into triangle-shaped crayons for a children’s hospital, ensuring they won’t roll off the table!” read a Lions Clubs of Bermuda social media post.
“A big thank you to Jen and Jacqui for their time and efforts with the Cubs. It is truly appreciated!
“We are grateful to WindReach for hosting us and giving our Cubs the opportunity to learn, give back, and have fun!”
The Hamilton Lions Club launched the island’s first Cubs programme, which teaches youngsters the joy of volunteering and the importance of helping others, in October 2023.
The programme is for youngsters aged four to 12.
