Scott Barnes To Race In Daytona Grand Prix
Bermuda karting driver Scott Barnes will compete in the opening race of the United States Pro Karting Series – the Daytona Super Grand Prix – at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida.
Barnes, who will compete in the KA100 Masters class, claimed a fourth straight Shifter Masters title in the Skusa Winter Series at the Orlando Kart Centre in Florida last month.
The Daytona Super Grand Prix runs from tomorrow [March 14] until Sunday.
Barnes wrote on social media: “Quick weekend trip up to Daytona this weekend to go and race in a new series for me.
“United States Pro Karting Series here we come. No big team support, no mechanic, put the kart in the back of the truck and let’s go racing!
“USPKS season kicks off at the world centre of racing this weekend!”
