Lions Club Donates For World Book Day
Members of the Hamilton Lions Club and Cubs donated colouring and activity books to local schools as part of the recent World Book Day.
World Book Day is a charity event held annually on the first Thursday in March.
“In recognition of World Book Day, the Lions and Cubs had the pleasure of donating Colouring/Activity Books – Lions Aren’t Just Kings of the Jungle to students at various primary schools!” the Lions Clubs of Bermuda posted on social media.
“These engaging books help inspire young minds with lessons on leadership, kindness, and community service.
“We are proud to support literacy and encourage a love for reading among our future leaders.
“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this initiative a success!”
The Hamilton Lions Cub teaches youngsters the joy of volunteering.
