Kenni Thompson Scores In Plate Final Win
Kenni Thompson scored in AFC Bournemouth Women’s 3-2 win over Cheltenham Town Women in the FA Women’s National League Plate Final at the M Group Stadium today [April 13].
The Bermuda winger opened the scoring in the eleventh minute with a neat turn and finish.
She also struck the crossbar from a free kick in the 22nd minute.
It is the second piece of silverware Thompson has lifted this season after helping Bournemouth win the National League Division One South West title, scoring five goals in 19 games.
Thompson joined Bournemouth midway through last season from Spanish top-tier side Eibar.
