Pilot James Darrell Commemorative Service
A commemorative service for Pilot James “Jemmy” Darrell [1749-1815] is scheduled for 5.00pm on Saturday [April 12] at St Peter’s Church Graveyard.
The event, hosted by the Friends of St Peter’s Church, will be held in remembrance of King’s Pilot James “Jemmy” Darrell.
Attendees expected include the Mayor of St George, Quinell Francis; Bermuda Branch Pilots; TS Admiral Somers Sea Cadet Corps; and Pilot James Darrell Family Descendants.
Following the service, a Bermuda Pilot Gig Exhibition Row and refreshments will take place at the East End Mini Yacht Club.
