A spokesperson said, “The Council is now in the process of conducting its 2024-2025 financial audit, summarizing a year of collaborative efforts and the Council’s support of health system improvements. The latest report captures initiatives that prioritize healthcare access, system innovation, and public engagement.

“Over this period, the Health Council championed advancements across regulatory frameworks, and public policy. “Additionally, collaborations with organizations such as Ignite Bermuda and the National Health Services [NHS] in the UK have strengthened Bermuda’s approach to innovation in aging, chronic conditions, and live donor kidney transplants. These collaborations highlight the Council’s commitment to working with others to find practical solutions for Bermuda’s health system.

“The Health Council also marked a refreshed public presence through the launch of a new website and visual identity, amplifying outreach efforts to better connect with health professionals and the public.

“This report is not just a reflection of where we’ve been—it’s a roadmap for where we’re going,” said Health Council Spokesperson. “Our commitment to collaboration, innovation, and transparency continues to guide every action we take to strengthen Bermuda’s health system.

“Beyond strategic advancements, the Council also turned its attention inward investing in the people behind the work. We strengthened our workplace culture through targeted wellness initiatives, professional development opportunities, and meaningful staff recognition. These efforts reflect our belief that a supported and empowered team is essential to achieving lasting public health outcomes.
