Warwick Academy U10 Boys Win Division
The Warwick Football Academy Under-10 boys’ team have been crowned champions of their division in the New England Surf Soccer Club Tapin Memorial Day Tournament in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Under-10 team, competing in the Boys’ Gold C Division, defeated Boston Bolts 3-0 in semi-finals before beating Lightning Soccer Club 3-0 in the final.
They were coached Dustin Archibald and Catherine Mello.
Also representing the Warwick Football Academy at the annual tournament were Under-9 Girls’, Under-12 Girls, and the Under-11 Boys.
“Well done to all teams – coaches, players and parents!” Richard Todd, the WFA technical director, wrote on social media.
“Every team was competitive in their divisions – demonstrating good play and sportsmanship!”
