Ryan Outerbridge Wins Two Races At NE-10
Bermudian athlete Ryan Outerbridge delivered a stellar performance at the 2025 Northeast-10 Conference Track & Field Championships, winning two gold medals and leading his Franklin Pierce University team to a strong showing.
Outerbridge first triumphed in the men’s 3000-meter steeplechase, crossing the finish line in 9:48.09. The race marked a historic moment for Franklin Pierce as Outerbridge was followed by teammates Angel Mendo Alonso and Sam Fortin, achieving the program’s first-ever podium sweep in the event.
The Bermudian continued his winning streak in the men’s 10000-meter run, clocking a time of 32:58.02 to claim his second gold medal of the championships. In his final event, the men’s 5000-meter run, Outerbridge finished ninth with a time of 15:49.64.
Outerbridge’s two gold medals, coupled with the unprecedented podium sweep in the steeplechase, were pivotal in the Franklin Pierce men’s team securing third place overall at the championships.
