Temple Of Tennis Junior Challenger Concludes
The Temple of Tennis Junior Challenger Tournament concluded at the Port Royal Tennis Courts, featuring final matches and decisive round-robin play among Bermuda’s promising young tennis players.
In the under 12 boys’ division final, Trystan Thompson defeated Ollie Anderson in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2, to claim the title.
Chloe Mcbrearty emerged as a double champion. She first secured the under 12 girls’ title with a decisive 6-0, 6-0 straight-sets victory over Lee Terceira. Mcbrearty then triumphed in the under 14 girls’ final, again defeating Terceira in straight sets, this time with a score of 6-0, 6-1.
Arianna Parra Delgado won the under 12 girls’ C-final, defeating Francesca Cressall-Haycock in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1.
The under 14 boys’ round-robin division saw Ollie Anderson record a straight-sets victory over Riley Maybury, 6-4, 6-3. James Casling-Hall also secured a straight-sets win against Maybury, 6-0, 7-6.
In the under 16 boys’ round-robin division, Jadon Spriggs overcame Tobiah Goodchild in a three-set match, winning 0-6, 7-6, 6-3.
