Football: Dandy Stars Defeat PHC Lady Zebras
Dandy Stars secured a 4-3 victory over PHC Lady Zebras in Bermuda Football Association Women’s League action at the Clyde Best Center of Excellence Field.
Dandy Stars took a 2-0 lead in the first half with goals from Robin-Valana Pearman in the 20th minute and Jessica Furtado in the 29th minute. PHC Lady Zebras responded in the 43rd minute with a goal from Janiya Sealey, bringing the score to 2-1 at halftime.
In the second half, PHC Lady Zebras equalized in the 52nd minute through Khylah Brangman. Dandy Stars regained the lead in the 72nd minute with a goal by Kalila Daley. One minute later, Jasmine Spence scored for PHC Lady Zebras, leveling the score at 3-3.
Jahde Simmons scored the winning goal for Dandy Stars in the 81st minute.
