Sunday July 19th: “Good News” Spotlight
News that Alneisha Outerbridge from the Department of Employee & Organizational Development earned the PSEA Award, the Bermuda Police Service commended Police Constable Julian Brassington for saving a stabbing victim’s life, and Olivia Gazzard and Isabella Sousa won gold at the Eastern Caribbean Under-20 Beach Volleyball Championship were among the positive news stories from the past week.
In other good news, Maya Bean, Alexandria Crippen, Naomi Crofton, April Cherry and Ava Moorghen won the French Scholarship Competition, the Bermuda College Foundation unveiled a modernized classroom funded by Essent Reinsurance Ltd, and the Stephen Lee Helping Hands Foundation received charitable status and announced plans for an islandwide expansion.
