Mia Fishel Meets Supporters At Swizzle Inn
Mia Fishel, the Chelsea Women’s footballer, has met with fans of the West London club at the Swizzle Inn in Bailey’ Bay.
Fishel, whose father Patrick is Bermudian, is visiting the island during the off-season and posed for photos with The Bermuda Blues – the island’s Chelsea supporters club.
The United States national team striker helped Chelsea complete the treble – Women’s Super League, FA Cup and League Cup – last season.
She scored her first goal since recovering from a serious knee injury in Chelsea’s 4-0 league win at home to Crystal Palace last month.
The 24-year-old, who joined Chelsea in the summer of 2023, is related to the Bascomes, the island’s famous football family, including former Bermuda players Andrew and David Bascome.
A post on the Swizzle Inn’s social media read: “Chelsea women’s team and US national women’s team player Mia Fishel met The Bermuda Blues at Swizzle Inn on Monday. Bonus is she is half Bermudian!”
