Jessica Lewis Guest Speaker At BHS
Four-time Paralympian Jessica Lewis said she was “honoured” to be the guest speaker at the Bermuda High School for Girls’ recent graduation ceremony.
Lewis, a former BHS student, congratulated the class of 2025 and wished them well in their future endeavours.
“Congratulations to the class of 2025!” Lewis wrote on social media. “You did it!
“Whatever this next phase of your life brings, I want you to know that there will be successes and some failures so I encourage you to believe in yourself and know that you can work hard, explore and discover new things about yourself.
“We are all unique and can bring so many beautiful things to the world.
“We never need to compare ourselves and should always celebrate what makes us different. When you put whatever your 100 per cent is on any given day, you will achieve amazing things.”
Lewis, who specialises in the T53 100 metres, has represented Bermuda at the London 2012, Rio de Janeiro 2016, Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Paralympics.
