Khano Smith’s Rhode Island Enjoy Cup Win
Khano Smith’s Rhode Island defeated Portland Hearts of Pine 4-1 at home in the USL Jägermeister Cup yesterday [June 27].
Albert Dikwa scored a hat-trick and Noah Fuson also found the net for the home side.
Titus Washington scored for USL League One side Portland.
A former Bermuda captain, Smith made history in his first year as a head coach last term, leading Rhode Island to the Eastern Conference final in their inaugural season in the USL Championship.
