Junior Golfers Conclude Optimist Tournament
Bermudian golfers Oliver Betschart, Dylan Muso, and Sienna Mosquera wrapped up their appearances at the International Optimist Junior Golf Tournament with solid performances on the final day of play in Miami.
Betschart, who entered the final round tied for the lead in the boys 16-18 division, finished in a tie for fifth place. Competing on the tournament’s Optimist Blue Monster course, he posted a three-over-par 75, recording 16 pars, one bogey, and one double bogey.
In the ‘Clash of the Challengers’ boys 16-18 division, Muso delivered a strong final round with a two-under-par 70 to tie for third. His performance included an eagle, two birdies, 13 pars, and two bogies.
Mosquera, competing in her division, closed with an eight-over-par 79 to finish tied for 17th. Her round featured one birdie, 11 pars, four bogies, one double bogey, and one triple bogey.
