Cechini Places 17th In Maryland Cross Country
Joseph Cechini continued his cross-country season with a 17th-place finish at the Georgetown Prep Cross-Country Classic in Maryland.
Competing for Mercersburg Academy, Cechini ran in the men’s 5,000 meters unseeded varsity race, crossing the line in 19 minutes, 14.9 seconds.
The event, held at the Georgetown Prep facility, drew hundreds of athletes from schools across the region. Cechini’s top-20 performance highlighted his early-season form and provided a strong result for the Mercersburg team.
