Tyler Christopher Appeals For Sponsorship

Bermudian professional boxer Tyler Christopher has issued an appeal for sponsorship after revealing a lack of financial support could stall his unbeaten career.
The southpaw, based in Birmingham, England, boasts a perfect 10-0 record but said rising costs are threatening his future in the sport.
“Unfortunately, the time has come – I’m going to need sponsorship in order for my career to continue,” Christopher said.
“Due to the increasing costs of medicals and assessments that the British Boxing Board is making fighters complete in order to pass, it’s become too much of a burden to do on my own.
“I missed out on a career-defining opportunity due to not having funding. I’ve been doing it on my own for the last five years as a professional. I’ve got skills to pay the bills. I just need that extra bit of support to help me make it.”
To attract backers, Christopher has created three sponsorship packages for individuals and businesses: the Bredrin Package [$270–$340], the Follow Mike Package [$800], and the It Gets Greater Later Package [$340 per month].
Christopher began boxing as an amateur at The New Controversy Gym in Hamilton before turning professional in England.
He most recently earned a points victory over English journeyman Jordan Grannum in Cannock, Staffordshire, in March.
