Kayla Bardgett Helps SCAD Win Again
Bermudian equestrian Kayla Bardgett and her teammates from the Savannah College of Art and Design [SCAD] secured their third consecutive regular-season victory in Intercollegiate Horse Show Association [IHSA] competition in Odessa, Florida.
SCAD was named Champion of the event after finishing with a total of 39 points, maintaining their perfect season start against a field of 13 colleges. The University of Tampa finished as Reserve Champion with 33 points, posing the closest challenge to the dominant SCAD program.
Bardgett, a senior, was a key point-scorer, competing at the highest level of competition. She placed fifth in the competitive Open Flat Division.
