Thomas Cechini Shines In Loyola Tri-Meet Sweep
Bermudian swimmer Thomas Cechini contributed to a decisive sweep for the Loyola University Maryland Swimming and Diving men’s team at a tri-meet in Baltimore.
Loyola secured dominant victories over both Patriot League opponents, defeating Lehigh 250-48 and American University 252-47.
Cechini earned points for the Greyhounds across multiple freestyle events:
- 200 Yard Freestyle: Cechini placed second with a time of 1 minute, 42.37 seconds [1:42.37].
- 500 Yard Freestyle: In the distance event, Cechini finished fourth, clocking 4:44.03.
- 200 Yard Freestyle Relay: Cechini anchored the Loyola men’s relay team, which finished with a combined time of 1:25.87.
