Allen Temple AME Church invites Bermuda’s men to grow, connect, and serve through its Men’s Empowerment Season, launching Sunday [Nov 30].
A spokesperson said, “In a time when our island and world are calling out for hope, leadership, and meaningful connection, Allen Temple AME Church has issued a bold invitation to the men of Bermuda: Come, take your rightful place in the mission and family of faith.
“This call is part of a growing movement rooted in Allen Temple’s Men’s Ministry, which will launch its Men’s Empowerment Season this weekend under the theme “Iron Sharpens Iron” [Proverbs 27:17]. With a vision to grow Christ-centered men, build authentic brotherhood, and uplift the community through service and mentorship, the ministry is reigniting its commitment to spiritual growth and generational impact.

“The evening promises a unique and powerful experience of worship, testimony, praise dance, mime, and a relevant message of transformation. The service is designed with young men and families in mind — raw, real, and reverent — modeling the passionate, authentic heart of King David.
“The guest preacher for the evening will be Evangelist Ross Smith, a dynamic minister known for his heartfelt, relatable teaching and dedication to reaching men across generations.
“Following the worship service, attendees are invited to enjoy an Asian takeout dinner prepared by a live sushi chef. Meals will be available for $25 and support ongoing men’s ministry programs.
“Whether you’ve been walking in faith for years or are still finding your way, this event is for you. The Men’s Ministry is especially encouraging brothers from Somerset and beyond to join the movement, participate in mentorship, and explore what it means to be men after God’s own heart in today’s world.
